CONGRATULATIONS!
Special mention...and congratulations to a rather special little Tonkinese lady..... Valerie Chapple's 'ANTIKPATINA PRUNELLA' (Nellie to her friends). Nellie has made quite an impact on the show bench recently, she is a rare Classic Tabby Tonkinese and i have to say we are all rather proud of her. She is also a wonderful example of her breed. Having been bred from one of our Ferngully girls 'FERNGULLY WAKANDA' and also grandaughter to my Gemmie (Ayshazen Ferngully Gemini), she is indeed a very special girl. Not forgetting her sire of course the rather handsome 'Whyoo Deesonof Jana' See photos of Nellie below, courtesy of Valerie Chapple
Below her most recent show report from judge Anne Gregory at THE LONDON CAT CLUB SHOW ON 13.06.2009.
1CC + BOB CHAPPLE'S ANTIKPATINA PRUNELLA, 74T, F, 13.08.2008
A beautiful relaxed and friendly female who showed herself to great advantage. Excellent type and expression, she was to me exactly at the 'halfway point' between the Siamese and Burmese. The head showed the shape of the equilateral triangle with gently rounded top and good width between the medium sized ears. The latter were pricked forward with a broad base and oval tops. Very expressive large eyes shaped liked rounded almonds and with the top line slanting towards the nose. Excellent aquamarine tone. Slight nose break in the profile and medium depth to the chin. Rounded muzzle and she had the correct definate whisker pinch. Well balanced body of medium length with slightly rounded chest. Slender legs, neat oval paws and tapering tail. Short, fine, silky coat showing excellent tabby pattern that mersed gently. Excellent condition and temperament. She was a girl with presence.
